LOVE LOVE! Get it and WAKE UP to the reality that life is important and brief--use it wisely!
Marino...great story (get both books!)...born and raised Catholic, fell into a wrong crowd (drugs, sex, etc) - he became a famous actor, wealthy, friends, power, status (even had live sex on stage for one play once! God showed him the horror of that sin!) & New Age beliefs! He felt very comfortable in life. But, God loved him too much to let him stay there & let him be kidnapped in his home country & he had a near death mystical experience & experienced (to his shock & dismay and terror) HELL. His judgement was HELL. It was sooo horrid he can't go deep into it, but Mary interceded before her son & Lord, Jesus to spare Marino...& send him back with a mission. Jesus did out of love for his mother but told Marino if he didn't change, that's where he'll be returning! Jesus gave him a mission to GO AND PREACH THAT IT IS ALL TRUE--God exists, Heaven exists, HELL EXISTS especially to let sinners know this and to WAKE THEM UP from their lulled comfortable lives of sin. Anyhow, listened to all his talks on YouTube as well. Just GREAT! I think this purchase (& his other book) are GREAT investments in your own good....great reminders to what we know and a wake up call!! BUY.

This book have changed my life . Nothing will be the same from now on . I feel like it infused me with the knowledge I was always looking for . Highly recommend!

One of the best catechisms for ALL Christians!
This simple but truthful book was one of the best catechisms I have ever read! It beautifully explains what the Catholic Church teaches and why we must live our faith fully in layman's terms. As well as what all Christians must understand. Marino's testimony and down to earth explanation of many of the mysteries of faith, the spirit world and the purpose of our existence is a MUST read. I only wish I could afford to buy a billion copies to hand out to everyone I encounter. I will be buying extras to be passed around. Don't keep this treasure for yourself. PS. Listen to Marino Restrepo's testimony and spirit filled lessons on YouTube.
Good book
I was was on youtube and I happened to come across Marino Restrepo's testimony. It was very interesting and inspiring, so I decided to buy the electronic book on the kindle. I liked the book, and it is a great read for Lent. He talks about the importance of "dying to yourself" and disciplining your "lower nature" in order to help your spirit. However, the testimony on youtube seemed to be more powerful than the written one, and the book could have been better written and organized. For some reason, on the kindle version of the book, the "r's" would sometimes show up as 1's or t's Nevertheless it is a good book, and I would recommend it. It opens your eyes to the reality of the spiritual world.
Brave
Everyone should read this. We are on a journey to eternity and being ignorant of what it takes to get there is no excuse. Marino makes it very compelling and gives great divine insight on how win the spiritual warfare we are fighting whether we acknowledge it or not. If you cannot commit to reading the books, search youtube and get moving towards the heaven Jesus wants each and everyone to attain,
Marino Saw the Light
Marino has a fascinating story. He happens to be another big sinner whom the Lord touched for His purpose. Today he goes around the world giving retreats. Have read it a number of times and shared it with others.
Amazing story
I had come across Mr. Restrepo on youtube where there are quite a few recorded sessions of him speaking about his experiences. I find him to be very genuine as a person and I do believe that God has blessed him with this near death experience. I decided to read this book based on that, and I was not disappointed. It is an amazing story and the reading is easy and quick. As a Catholic, I found all of the things he wrote about was supported in the Catholic teachings, and the revelations given to him explains many things on a much deeper level. You do not have to be Catholic to read this, if you have a belief in Jesus Christ, you will most likely find this book very enlightening.
LOVED this book!
An inspiring story of a young man who got involved with drugs, sex and the pursuit of the "good" life. He gets kidnapped and imprisoned in a cave for several months. During this time, he has an encounter with God and his life is changed forever. This is a true story.
It will move you
A detailed account from a Columbians real experience with God (and personal revelations) after a very scary, painful, and almost deadly kidnapping. I recommend this book even though the Kindle version had some formatting issues.
