A brief history of B & Q

B & q is one where I have never bought anything and I plan to never buy anything from there, mostly because I don't do it yourself ... I will get others

...

Did you know that B & Q is the United Kingdom's largest home improvement retailer and has been for years.

The first B & Q was opened in Southampton in 1969, by Richard Block and David Quayle.

If you write their abbreviations, and you get b and q, if you haven't found it yet, that's where the name comes from there.

Back in 1969, DIY is an expert's hobby, making B & Q attack the appropriate market.

B & Q has provided customers with a wide range of devices, long opening hours and making their stocks affordable.

Because of the success of this first store, in the following ten years, there were another twenty-five stores opened in the UK.

Now B & Q has stores across the UK and Ireland, with some of them extremely giant.

They sell small things like screws all the ways for new kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.
